Pat Chlouber Goes to Washington
Throughout its rich and interesting history, Leadville and Lake County have always held their own politically when it comes to representation at the Golden Dome, be it Washington or Denver.
And this coming week, history will repeat itself at the 2013 Colorado Capital Conference in Washington, D.C., when Leadville’s Pat Chlouber attends the three-day event.
“I am honored to be able to attend the conference and get an inside look at how Washington works,” said Pat Chlouber. “I am looking forward to hearing from the diverse, bipartisan slate of speakers, including Colorado’s two U.S. senators.”
The conference, which 100 Coloradans from across the state will attend this week (June 5 – 7) is aimed at connecting Coloradans with national leaders and influential public figures. The conference, hosted by Senator Mark Udall, Colorado Mesa University and the University of Colorado, will feature a bipartisan and diverse slate of distinguished speakers.
“I look forward to bringing these experiences back with me to Colorado. Our government is better when Coloradans like myself and the other nearly 100 participants are actively engaged.”
The entire Colorado congressional delegation also will attend the Colorado Capital Conference and address participants. For more information, contact Pat Chlouber directly at 720-291-8081.
