It’s Time to Sparkle Red, White & Blue, Leadville!
While front range cities and some mountain communities have been canceling fireworks, Leadville’s patriotic display is still a go! That’s according to Lake County Sheriff Rod Fenske who yesterday reported that the weekend rain has brought the local fire index down to a 4, where last week’s conditions had that number at a six. So it’s time to celebrate our country’s Independence Day!
