The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus is coming to Leadville this Friday and Saturday, July 19 & 20! Advance tickets: Adult $10, Child $6. Sponsored by The Leadville Lions Club, tickets are available at Peoples Bank, Saturday’s Discount, and Centennial Real Estate. Showtimes are Friday at 5 p.m. & 7 p.m.; and Saturday at 2 p.m. & 4:30 p.m.

Car Wash to Fund Teen Fun for Boom Days

This Thursday, July 18 there will be a carwash from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. across the street from the 6th Street Gym to help raise money for a local teen event.
For the past three years Lake County High students have organized a Teen Boom Days Event the Saturday of Boom Days weekend. The Teen Boom Days Event is an alcohol-free, alternative event for teens ages 12-20 that provides a fun and safe space for teens to celebrate Boom Days.
This year’s plans include a luau themed carnival at Ice Palace Park complete with an inflatable Laser tag arena and Sumo wrestling. In order to raise money to pay for the event the planning committee will be holding a fundraising carwash Thursday July 18. All proceeds from the car wash will go towards the 2013 Teen Boom Days Event.
