Ski Cooper Ends Season with Egg Hunt and Cherokee
This weekend marks Ski Cooper’s swan song for the season! Closing Day is Sunday, April 6 and the Leadville ski mountain will close things out with a spectacular End-of-The-Season Party. Not only will lift tickets be sold at a 15% discount, but the resort is planning a party from 3 – 6 p.m. And with local favorite band Leadville Cherokee rocking out the season, the good times can be found out at Ski Cooper this Sunday.
But before closing day, the Leadville ski resort will also hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt. Tomorrow, April 5th the event will be held beside The Lodge at Ski Cooper starting at 9 a.m. sharp!
According to egg hunt organizer Shannon Gipson, “This is a free, fun, and very fast event so don’t be late. Remember to bring a bag or basket and allow enough time to park and walk to the venue.”
The resort will hide thousands of eggs, so bring your own basket and get ready to scoop up the goodies. There will be three age divisions and find the “Cooper Egg” and win a FREE season pass for next year. The event is FREE and open to the public, whether you’re skiing or not!
However Gipson added, “there will also be eggs on the mountain for skiers – so keep an eye out!”
