Colorado Cops on Top Summit Mt Elbert with Honor

Thirty members of the Team Colorado “Cops of Top” summited Mt. Elbert on June 28 to honor those who have been killed in the line of duty. Every year on the last Saturday in June, Cops on Top teams from across the country set out to summit their state’s highest point. What a Colorado bluebird day! Photo: Colorado Cops on Top
Get The Lead Out Finale: Losers are Winners!
The finale in the local Get The Lead Out health and fitness program, saw thw Wonderfully Made Team with top honors. The winning team was made up by Lesli Crenshaw, Shannon Missey, and Hannah Scott . In the individual competition first place men went to Andrew Tull with a total loss of 13.79%. But the top woman “loser” was Janeen McGee with a 14.77% weight reduction.
One hundred eight Lake County residents made the commitment to their health by signing up for the fun, competitive 12 week program which promotes healthy eating, fitness and weight loss. GTLO is sponsored by the Lake County Public Health Agency.

- Hot ‘N Heavy (7.26%) (Kelsey Bond, Nate Bunch, Danielle Gonzales, Brenda Knoll, Carol Lucero, Patrick Lucero, Karla Nava, and Andrew Tull)
- Quad Squad (7.11%) (Andrea & Wayne Byrne, Fran Masterson, and Brad Palmer)
