Stop Smoking (or Chewing) Seminar in Leadville!
How many times have you “tried” and failed? Most likely you continued to think of yourself as a smoker “trying” not to smoke. But have you ever noticed how non-smokers don’t have to try? They just don’t care about smoking. They don’t make excuses. They have no interest, they’re not even tempted. We all know former smokers who just tossed out their smokes one day and never looked back; they became non-smokers with no struggle at all. It’s as if they simply changed their minds about smoking. That’s exactly what they did, and it’s easy!
Peak your interest? Then this Saturday’s HypNoSmoke Seminar is for you! Stop smoking specialist Frank Oden, a certified Hypnotherapist will be on the Colorado Mountain College Campus from 1 – 5 p.m. on October 11.
Under Oden’s program, you can learn to do quit smoking yourself with the power of Hypnosis & Neuro Linguistic Programming. NLP Master Practitioner Frank Oden will teach you exactly what smoking is, how it works, and how to stop doing it – immediately and permanently.
The first part of the program is an interactive lecture format. You will learn the successful cognitive and behavioral strategies you need to beat both the physical and psychological dependence on smoking. You will also learn specific techniques to banish cravings and resist all the typical temptations and pitfalls, even how to avoid weight gain.
The second part of the program is group hypnosis to address the most important factor in any kind of successful endeavor — your attitude! It’s easy to apply the coping skills you’ve learned when you have personal confidence in your own healthy, positive self-image as a non-smoker.
No pills or retail products will be sold or offered for sale. There is a $30 registration fee and seating is limited. For more information, visit: www.hypnosmoke.com. The program sponsors are Lake County Public Health Agency, Connect for Health Colorado, Colorado Mountain College and The Scarlet Inn and Tavern. To register call Judy at 719-486-4258.
