The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a winter weather advisory for snow in the mountains along the Continental Divide, including Leadville and Lake County. The advisory is in effective until 6 a.m. Monday morning and accumulation totals are expected to range from 5 -10 inches, possibly higher at elevations above 9,000 feet.
A strong spring storm will affect the region with travel becoming hazardous due to heavy snow visibilities and snow covered roads.
