Thursday Meeting for County Administrator Questions
The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) recently created the position of Lake County Administrator. This Thursday, April 30, a group of concerned citizens are holding a public meeting concerning this action, which was done without any input from the public.
The public meeting will be held at the Old Church next to the Chamber this Thursday at 7 p.m. to discuss why the BOCC decided to create the position of County Administrator (Chief Administrative Officer)
The person holding this position will have the power to direct and supervise all county departments that are under the direct control of the BOCC. This individual would have control over tax dollars. The objective of this meeting is to hear both sides of this issue. The BOCC has been invited to attend this event to present their side.
All concerned citizens of Lake County are encouraged to attend and make their opinions known.
