Culpepper Circus In Town This Friday and Saturday
Step right up, Ladies and Gentlemen, and direct your attention to the center ring! Okay so that might be the only ring when it comes to the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus which is coming to Leadville this Friday and Saturday!
But regardless of the quantity of rings in this circus, the quality of these performers is comparable to anything you might see at bigger venues. And their death-defying feats and animal acts are so up close and personal in this smaller venue that you truly feel like a part of the show!
Besides, where else do you get to see the ringmaster, trapeze artist and clowns all take part in hoisting up the big top in the shadows of Colorado’s two highest peaks?! Note: Be sure to bring the kiddos by on Friday morning to see them set up the big top – a truly spectacular event!
Sponsored by the Leadville Lions Club, the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus will be setting up their tent in a different location this year: the Lake County Rodeo Grounds located at 6th & McWethy, adjacent to the Community Field.
The dates and show times are as follows: Fri, July 17, shows at 5 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. and Sat, July 18 at 2 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. Advance Tickets are $6 for children and $10 for adults. Circus Tickets are Available at: Peoples Bank, Saturday’s Discount and Centennial Real Estate.
