Arts & Crafts Fair: Earlier Dates, Licenses Required
The Leadville Arts Coalition is currently accepting applications from artist and crafters for their Annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair. This year, presenters should be aware of a few changes.
First the event has been moved up on the calendar to the week BEFORE Thanksgiving, to be held November 20-21, 2015.
Secondly, ALL presenters MUST HAVE a valid, current tax license to participate in the show. According to organizers, this can be a single, multi-event or regular sales tax license. LAC is also emphasizing that applications WILL NOT be processed unless a self-addressed, STAMPED envelope is included with your application and payment.
Join local and regional artists and craftspeople as they display their work for your enjoyment. VENDOR INFO.
Take home that special homemade item, for that special someone, just in time for the holidays. The holiday show opens on Friday, November 20 from 4-8 p.m. returning to the Leadville CMC Campus in the Climax Molybdenum Leadership Center gym. See you there!
Volunteers, Donations Needed for Pumpkin Patch
The Pumpkin Patch will be held this year on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the 6th Street Gym. Now in its 15th year, the Pumpkin Patch has become a Leadville tradition, being passed down as readily as those Halloween costumes!
Organizer Kristin Sparkman is announcing an open call for volunteers for this event. So, if you have some time to either help with set up or perhaps with many of the games and activities for the kids during the day of the event, please contact Kristin at 970-406-1515.
Cash donations which will help defray the costs of putting this family-friendly FREE event on, are also being accepted.
