Appreciation Parties Say Thank You to Locals!
It’s that time of year when most denizens of Leadville are thankful. They’re thankful town isn’t terribly crowded, they are thankful the weather is still nice, and that no one has had to pick up that snow shovel . . . yet. Just take a look around, there’s a lot to be thankful for when you live in Leadville Today!
But if you’re looking for a couple more reasons to feel appreciative, then be sure to swing by the local bike and skate shops, both of whom are having some local appreciaiton parties this weekend.
First up is the The Cycles of Life Customer Appreciation Party which is tonight Friday, Sept. 30, starting at 6:30 p.m. Sounds like they’ll be the usual hors d’oeuvres and adult beverages, along with some great sales, bikes are not included.
Local Appreciaiton Weekend at Ryde Lab Skate Shop
Also this Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 1 – 2 The Ryde Lab skate shop in Leadville will be hosting Local Appreciation Weekend! Come and check out all of the specials on clothing and boards. Remember, the holdiays are just around the corner. This is a great pre-Christmas sale. Stop into the local skate shop to take advantage of prizes, giveaways and a host of all the supplies you need for your ride.
This Saturday, The Ryde ab skate Shop will be open from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., serving up some free food and drinks from Noon – 2 p.m. Then they’ll be back open on Sunday, Oct. 2 from Noon – 4 p.m. Stop in at 121 E. 9th Street and be appreciated! Lead Vegas Friday Night with Live Music at Scarlet
Tonight, Friday Sept. 30 the Matt Spinks Trio will be playing downtown Lead Vegas at The Scarlet Bar. Inspired by influences ranging from the Allman Brothers to Fiona Apple, this band can be found playing everything from bluegrass to the blues.
The show kicks off at 9 p.m., according to the band’s website. The Scarlet Bar is located in downtown Leadville at the corner of 4th & Harrison Ave. Here’s a taste of what’s in store:
